Operating theatre gowns are another example of disposable clothing. they are created for a specific function/purpose - to protect medical staff and patients from the transfer of microorganisms, bodily fluid, bacteria and other matter - and then thrown away. There are a range of factors to take into account with the material used - including strength, flammability, barrier to liquid, comfort and many more.
If I was to continue this project further I would try to adapt the material to suit a wider range of factors - For example, making it water resistant.
